The cottages have been created out of the old Milking Parlour and we have tried hard to retain its character. Since we took over the farm some 20 years ago we have always saved ‘useful things’ from the old buildings, like the original cow byre dividers, and have now given them a new lease of life as features in both cottages. Alongside the ‘old’, we’ve incorporated some of the ‘new’, such a USB charging sockets, Wifi and Bluetooth speakers for your devices.
All the rooms are light and airy. The Lounge has a cosy appearance with old reclaimed wooden floorboards, a log burning stove set on a stone hearth and the original truss beams of the old milking parlour creating a lovely, relaxing and homely feel. All of the gorgeous en suite bathrooms are generous in size with a unique appearance.
The French doors from the Lounge lead out on to your own walled patio area, with some under cover space with table and chairs. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottages.
Within our grounds, in ‘Basil’s Pen’, there is a secluded Barbecue area for customers’ use with a picnic table and a hard table surface for disposable barbecues.
We have ample off road parking.
We are an approximate 10 min. drive from Godshill village, or you can choose to walk the 2 mile public footpath through the fields.
